FENCE (Foothills Equestrian Nature Center) is a 5 minute walk or 2 minute car ride away from Barking Fox Farm. It's a wonderful place to walk your dogs on their beautiful trails. Another nearby trail system is the Blue Wall Passage of the Palmetto Trail and it's only a few minutes from the farm. This is a very "doggy friendly" area. Meet our doggie guests.

Located four miles north of Downtown Hendersonville, Historic Johnson Farm was a late 19th-century tobacco farm that became a popular summer tourist retreat. Today the farm is owned by the Henderson County Public Schools and is operated as a heritage education center and farm museum.
